Background data read is an option in the Aranet Home settings, that, when enabled, will enable the Aranet Home App on a periodic basis (once every few hours) to read data from paired Aranet devices. The devices must be within range of the phone/tablet running the Aranet Home App.
The data is then stored locally on the Aranet Home app (90 days of data storage per device).
