Default Settings

The Aranet Radiation sensor is calibrated in the factory, and it works instantly when it you take it out of the box and insert the batteries – no additional setup is needed. These are the default settings of the Aranet Radiation sensor:

1. The default measurement interval is set to 5 minutes;

2. The default radiation measurement units are set to Sieverts;

3. Bluetooth connection is enabled;

4. Bluetooth connection transmission range is set to normal;

5. The buzzer for audio sound alarm notifications is disabled;

6. Radiation dose indication is set according to the recommendations 1-4 below.

The 2nd, 3rd and 5th settings can be changed with the switches in the battery compartment on the back of the device for the Aranet4 screen, but the remaining five settings can only be changed via the Aranet Home phone application.
